Sweet Sisters LLC has trademark Registration 3224579 in the United States Patent and Trademark Office for the trademark Sweet Sisters "Sweet Sisters." The Sweet Sisters trademark appears not only on our website but on all advertising and printed materials used in our course of business. Our trademark as been in existence since 2007 and has enjoyed tremendous success.
Since the SWEET SISTERS trademark is a federally registered mark, United States trademark law requires that SWEET SISTERS take all reasonable steps to prevent others from using its marks, or confusingly similar marks, in such a way so as to "dilute" its distinctiveness as an exclusive designator of SWEET SISTERS goods and services. If the mark is used by too many different sources, it becomes a "generic" term, and SWEET SISTERS may lose its exclusive right to use it. Thus, it is SWEET SISTERS responsibility to police for the use of *SWEET SISTERS" in any manner, and stop all unauthorized use of its trademark. Accordingly, SWEET SISTERS cannot allow continued use of its trademark by non affiliated users.
